Why don't I post......................

It has been a difficult couple of weeks...so much to do, not enough time and never enough money....

The news lately has been depressing, this one killing that one, this one threatning the next one, people starving, people oppressed and nothing being done......the internet, the papers, the TV....no good news at all. I guess I just decided to take a break......

I also had to prepare for a job interview, I now have a better job within my organization but my current boss will not release me for weeks.......but the time will come.....then maybe I will have my life back again.....reasonable hours and a bit more money...

Other than that not much is happening, teenage kids still driving me crazy. My Mom and Dad are staying with us this weekend before heading off to warmer climes. We look after their car and their dog whilst they are away and already the demands for a dog of our own are being heard. The thing I like about my Moms dog is that she is like other peoples children....nice to have around for a while but you give them back.
We have had dogs before, the never ending promise that they will be fed and cleaned up after.....and it happens for a while then the job seems to fall on me.....So do I give in, do I let a furry mutt chew my shoes, leave puddles on the stairway......I think not, easier said than done. The wife is now heading up the petition so I know that eventually I will cave in and there will be a new addition to the household.....
