My rant for the week.
I lived abroad as an expat for many years, I was educated abroad, worked abroad, got married (twice) abroad, yet in all the time I was in a foreign country I adopted it's culture, lifestyle and lived the way of life expected there....until this was no loner acceptable.....then I moved.
What gets me, is the number of foreigners here, having decided to leave their country of birth and take up residence in the UK , some on working holiday visas, some on work permits, some on ancestry visas....and what do they do....they whinge and bitch and moan about how crap the UK is, brag that when they get UK citizenship, the maroon passport is their ticket out of here....
I really must ask, do we really want such people here, do we really want people like that presenting themselves abroad , or at home for that matter as citizens of the United Kingdom?????
As my youngest would say...." I don't think so!"

Got the car back...£88 new distributor cap, new HT leads and rotor arm....well at least something has a bit of spark.

Also got the new shift rotas...."Nothing sucks like Electrolux", whoever coined that phrase has no idea, because this really sucks. Time to move on to newer things, I refuse to have my life turned upside down and then still be expected to lose 2 grand a year for the priviledge.

One good point yesterday.....I am a civillian instructor with one of the cadet forces and last night we set an exam for one of the courses and they all came up with 80 and 90 percents with a full house 100% for one of them....hmm what was I saying about bright sparks????
